“It has been brought to the notice that two-wheelers bearing non-transport (private) registration marks/numbers are being used on hire for carrying passengers which is a purely commercial operation and There is a violation of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.

The notice sent by the Transport Department clearly mentions that if Ola, Uber and Rapido riders continue to provide bike taxi service in Delhi, they will be fined Rs 5,000. Even after this, if you do this for the second time, you can be fined Rs 10,000 and imprisonment.

Also, according to the official notice sent to the ride sharing companies, the driving license of the driver will also be suspended for a minimum period of three years. Will be suspended for.
